Ajman Defeat Al Ain 4-2 in Thrilling ADNOC Pro League Encounter

Ajman defeated Al Ain 4-2 in a fiery clash at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium on Wednesday, as part of Matchweek 12 of the ADNOC Pro League.

Ajman set the tone early with an aggressive offensive approach that earned them a penalty in the eighth minute.

Serbian defender Milos Kosanovic confidently converted the spot kick to give the hosts an early lead.

However, Al Ain quickly responded just four minutes later with a powerful long-range strike from Laba Kodjo, leveling the score at 1-1.

As the first half unfolded, an unfortunate error from Al Ain’s goalkeeper Khalid Eisa gifted Ajman their second goal.

Attempting to clear the ball, Eisa miscalculated, resulting in an own goal in the 37th minute. The error put Ajman ahead 2-1 heading into halftime.

The second half saw Al Ain dominate possession as they sought to equalize.

Their persistence paid off in the 80th minute when Kosanovic, in a twist of fate, accidentally deflected the ball into his own net, tying the game at 2-2.

However, Ajman wasted no time reclaiming the lead.

Just two minutes later, Moroccan forward Anas Mtitache delivered a clinical finish to make it 3-2 for the hosts.

In the closing moments, Ajman sealed their victory with a stunning goal from Junior Flemmings in the 89th minute, solidifying a big 4-2 win.

The win rose Ajman to 13 points, placing them in 10th position on the league table.

Meanwhile, Al Ain remain in 6th place with 19 points, missing a critical opportunity to climb higher in the standings.
