Al Jazira and Al Wahda shared the spoils after playing out a goalless draw in matchweek 12 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Al Wahda are now third with 22 points, while Al Jazira sit fifth with 21 points.
Vinicius Mello should have broken the deadlock in the 26th minute, but the referee disallowed it after consulting the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
The referee also cancelled a penalty kick for Al Wahda after reviewing the VAR .
Al Wahda had to resume the game with ten players from the 87th minute after Ala Zhir was shown the red card.
