The UAE Pro League, Mubadala Investment Company, the Authority of Social Contributions "Ma'an," and the Family Development Foundation (FDF) launched a Health Prevention Campaign for Senior Citizens.
The campaign, which will start on January 11th and end on January 12th at ACTIVE Al Maryah Island Sports and Recreation in Abu Dhabi, comes as a continuation of the Senior Citizens Football Championship project.
It was launched on January 4th with a football tournament, which witnessed active participation from senior citizens.
The Health Prevention Campaign aims at enhancing physical and mental health, as well as encouraging the elderly to partake in various sports activities and boost community communication by providing opportunities for the elderly to participate effectively in community initiatives.
120 participants aged 60 and above will partake in this campaign.
The program includes practical advice and interactive activities for elderly participants.
