Goals from Sasa Ivkovic, Omar Khribin, Facundo Daniel, and Brahima Diarra helped Al Wahda secure a 4-1 victory over Dibba Al Hisn on Monday in matchweek 11 of the ADNOC Pro League.
Al Wahda had taken the lead after six minutes when Sasa Ivkovic turned Kevin Andres' pinpoint cross from a corner into the back of the net.
Dibba Al Hisn restored the parity after 34 minutes with Ibrahima Cisse's clinical finish from a close range.
Three minutes later, Omar Khribin put Al Wahda in front when he picked up the ball inside the box, keeping his composure, and slotted the ball into the back of the net.
Facundo Daniel sealed the victory in the 75th minute as the Syrian international turned from a scorer to a provider and rounded the ball to Facundo Daniel at the far post as he drilled the ball into the box.
A side-footed effort from Brahima Diarra two minutes before the time secured the three points for Al Wahda and took them to third spot.
The result means that Al Wahda are third with 21 points, while Dibba Al Hisn sit 12th with 6 points.
