ADNOC Pro League: Matchweek 12 Preview

Matchweek 12 of the ADNOC Pro League will take place on Saturday and Sunday, December 24th and 25th, as each club; looks to gain some ground between keeping pace with the league's leading teams or moving up the standings.

 

 

 

Saturday's actions get underway, with Al Nasr hosting Al Bataeh at Al Maktoum Stadium for the 16:45 kick-off.

 

 

 

 

Al Nasr will seek to compensate for their last defeat against Dibba in matchweek 11, while Al Bataeh will look to return to the winning ways after being defeated by Al Jazira 2-4 in matchweek 11.

 

 

 

At the same time, Al Jazira welcome Al Dhafra at Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium.

 

 

 

 

The Pride of Abu Dhabi will search for securing their second consecutive win, while Al Dhafra will seek to secure their first win since matchweek 4 when they defeated Shabab Al Ahli 3-2.

 

 

 

During their 16 previous meetings, Al Jazira won 13, compared to 3 victories for Al Dhafra.

 

 

 

Saturday's fixtures conclude with a fiery encounter at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, where Al Ail will clash against Al Wasl for the 19:30 kick-off.

 

 

 

The ADNOC Pro League title holders Al Ain will search for returning to winning ways after holding a 2-2 draw against Sharjah in matchweek 10; before playing out another 2-2 draw with Bani Yas in matchweek 11.

 

 

 

On the other hand, Al Wasl will seek to compensate for their last defeat against leaders Shabab Al Ahli in matchweek 11.

 

 

 

The games continue on Sunday, with second-placed Al Wahda hosting fifth Ajman at Al Nahyan Stadium for the 16:45 kick-off.

 

 

 

The Abu Dhabi-based side will look to return to winning ways after playing out a 2-2 draw against Khorfakkan in matchweek 11, while Ajman will search for securing their third win in a row.

 

 

 

At the same time, Dibba will host Sharjah at Dibba Stadium. Dibba will seek to pull off their second win in a row after securing their first victory in the league against Al Nasr in matchweek 11, while Sharjah will search for heaping pressure on leaders Shabab Al Ahli.

 

 

 

The two clubs had previously clashed eight times, with one win for Dibba, compared to two for Sharjah, while the other five games ended in draws.

 

 

 

The games continue with leaders Shabab Al Ahli hosting tenth-placed Bani Yas at Rashid Stadium for the 19:30 kick-off.

 

 



During their 22 previous encounters, the Dubai-based side won ten times, compared to six for Bani Yas, while the other six encounters ended in draws.

 

 

 

Matchweek 12 concludes with the ninth Khorfakkan welcoming eighth-placed Ittihad Kalba at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium for the 19:30 kick-off.

 

 

 

Khorfakkan will seek to return to winning ways after holding a 2-2 draw against Al Wahda in matchweek 11, while Ittihad Kalba will be in search of their first win since matchweek 9.

 

 

The two clubs had clashed four times before, with three wins for Ittihad Kalba, compared to just a victory for Khorfakkan.
