ADNOC Pro League Matchweek 19 Preview: Fans Set for Exciting Matchups

As the ADNOC Pro League nears its final stages, matchweek 19 gears up to present six eagerly awaited matches, culminating in a highly anticipated clash between Al Nasr and Shabab Al Ahli.

This matchweek, spread over three days from April 15 to April 17, also sees the postponement of the Al Ain vs. Emirates FC match to May 12 due to Al Ain’s Asian competition commitments.

The action kicks off on Monday with Al Wasl hosting Hatta at 18:00 at Zabeel Stadium.

Al Wasl, currently on an eight-match winning streak, will look to extend their dominance against a struggling Hatta side that are fighting to escape the relegation zone.

Al Wasl have a strong historical advantage over Hatta, having won six and drawn one of their previous seven encounters in the league.

Later that evening, at 20:30, Ittihad Kalba will take on Al Wahda in a tightly contested matchup.

Both teams are coming off 3-1 victories and are keen to climb further up the league standings with another win.

Tuesday’s matches feature Al Jazira against Khorfakkan and Ajman versus BaniYas, both set for an 18:00 start.

While Al Jazira and Bani Yas are pushing for higher positions on the table, Ajman and Khorfakkan are battling to distance themselves from the relegation threat, making their fixtures critical for survival.

The matchweek concludes on Wednesday with two matches. At 18:00, Bani Yas welcomes Sharjah in a game that could shift the mid-table dynamics.

The spotlight then shifts to Al Maktoum Stadium at 20:30 for the round's marquee matchup between Al Nasr and Shabab Al Ahli.

With just one point separating them in the standings — Al Nasr at sixth place with 28 points and Sharjah in fifth with 29 — this game is set to be a fierce battle.

The historical head-to-head record favors Shabab Al Ahli, who have secured 15 wins to Al Nasr’s four, with 10 draws, including a thrilling 3-3 draw earlier this season.
