ADIB Cup Gameweek 3 Set for Two Days of Big Matches

The 2026-27 ADIB Cup returns on Thursday and Friday, October 8 and 9, with seven Gameweek 3 matches featuring teams chasing perfect starts, first victories and crucial points in the league phase.

Thursday’s action begins at 17:10 with two matches. Al Ain host Kalba at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, while Shabab Al Ahli face United at Rashid Stadium.

Al Ain are still searching for their first points after losing their opening two matches, while Kalba have three points. Shabab Al Ahli have collected two points from two draws, while United have three points from one win and one defeat.

Two more fixtures follow at 19:45. Al Nasr host Hatta at Al Maktoum Stadium, with Al Nasr on four points and Hatta on one.

At the same time, leaders Al Wasl visit Khorfakkan at Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi Stadium. Al Wasl have collected the maximum six points from their first two matches and will be looking for a third successive victory, while Khorfakkan are still searching for their first point.

Friday’s programme begins at 17:10 with an early battle near the top of the standings as Ajman host Bani Yas at Rashid Bin Saeed Stadium. Both teams have six points after winning their opening two matches, putting their perfect records on the line.

At the same time, Al Wahda welcome Al Dhafra to Al Nahyan Stadium, with both sides looking to collect their first points of the competition.

Gameweek 3 concludes at 19:45 with a major clash between Sharjah and Al Jazira at Sharjah Stadium.

Al Jazira enter the match with six points after winning both of their opening fixtures, while Sharjah have three points after securing their first victory against Al Dhafra in Gameweek 2.

The history between the two teams adds further interest to the fixture. Across eight previous ADIB Cup meetings, Sharjah and Al Jazira have each recorded three victories and scored 13 goals apiece, underlining how closely matched the two sides have been in the competition.
