Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta, manager of Al Jazira, is set to face Portuguese coach Paulo Sousa, head of Shabab Al Ahli, in the final of the ADIB Cup for the 2024–2025 season.
The match will be held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium on April 19.
For Amouta, this final represents a golden chance to win his first trophy with Al Jazira since taking over on July 8, 2024.
In this season's tournament, Amouta has led Al Jazira in six matches, earning three wins and three losses, with the team scoring 14 goals and conceding 10.
On the other side, Paulo Sousa is aiming to win his second title with Shabab Al Ahli, after guiding the team to the UAE Super Cup in December 2024 with a win over Al Wasl.
Now, he aims to add the 2025 ADIB Cup to his growing collection.
Sousa’s unbeaten run in the tournament includes three wins and three draws, with his side scoring 15 goals and conceding 9.
