The UAE football scene is set for a thrilling final as Al Jazira and Shabab Al Ahli meet in the final of the 2024–2025 ADIB Cup.

The highly anticipated match will be held on Saturday, April 19, at the iconic Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 8:30 PM.

Excitement is building among fans, with tickets still available through the UAE Pro League’s official website and Platinumlist.

Fans from across the country are expected to fill the stands for what promises to be an unforgettable night of football between two of the UAE’s top clubs.

Al Jazira reached the final after overcoming Al Wasl in a tightly contested semi-final, winning 3-2 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, Shabab Al Ahli impressed in their semi-final against Sharjah, advancing with a 5-3 aggregate victory.

This will be the second ADIB Cup final meeting between the two clubs. Their previous final clash came in the 2013–2014 season, when Shabab Al Ahli secured a 2-1 win to claim the title.

In total, this will be their sixth final against each other across all competitions, with Shabab Al Ahli winning three and Al Jazira winning two of the previous five.

Historically, Shabab Al Ahli are the ADIB Cup’s most decorated club, lifting the trophy five times—in 2011–2012, 2013–2014, 2016–2017, 2018–2019, and 2020–2021.

They are making their eighth appearance in the final and their sixth in the last nine editions, underlining their consistent dominance in the competition.

For Al Jazira, this final represents a return to the big stage.

The club is chasing its second ADIB Cup title, having last won the competition in 2009–2010. This is their fourth appearance in the final, and their first in over a decade.
