Shabab Al Ahli's manager Paulo Sousa, said he is pleased to be part of the UAE Football family.
It came during the pre-match press conference of the ADIB Cup final between Al Jazira and Shabab Al Ahli.
"I feel like I am part of the UAE Football's family, and this outstanding organization of the ADIB Cup final gives us great motivation to claim titles," the Portuguese coach said.
"We prepared very well for the Al Jazira match and worked on developing a strategy based on the rate of the final," he added.
"We are striving to show our identity and choose the ideal lineup that matches the opponent's style," Sousa noted.
He also urged the players to focus on tomorrow's game and capitalize on the opportunities that allow them to score goals.
On the other hand, Al Jazira's manager Hussein Ammouta said, "I am happy to always be in the UAE. I learn every day by competing with high-level players, and I am also happy to be in the final."
"We are highly focused, and our ambition is to win the ADIB Cup. These matches are played on small details," the Moroccan manager added.
"We have the potential to shine in tomorrow's final. We are trying to benefit from Elneny's defensive experience, and absences sometimes force us to change his duties on the pitch," Ammouta noted.
"Shabab Al Ahli have more options in tomorrow's match, but we are technically and psychologically ready for the encounter," he outlined.
"Richard Akonnor is not ready for the final, and we will make the final decision regarding Mohamed Rabii today.
Khalifa Al Hammadi is complaining of knee discomfort, and Karim Rekik has not recovered since the beginning of 2025," Ammouta concluded.
