As the countdown begins for the 2025 ADIB Cup final, excitement continues to grow around the upcoming clash between Al Jazira and Shabab Al Ahli, set to take place at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium on April 19.
Shabab Al Ahli enter the match as the most successful team in the history of the ADIB Cup, having lifted the trophy five times, more than any other club.
Behind them is Al Wahda with three titles, followed by Al Ain and Al Nasr with two each. Al Jazira, Ajman, and Sharjah have each won the cup once.
Al Jazira, however, stand tall in another historic category — scoring.
They are the top-scoring club in the history of the ADIB Cup, with 220 goals to their name.
Shabab Al Ahli follow closely with 210, while Al Ain (199), Al Wahda (198), Al Wasl (184), Al Nasr (161), and Sharjah (149) round out the top scorers.
When it comes to goals in ADIB Cup Final matches specifically, Shabab Al Ahli again lead the way, having scored 11 goals in final appearances — the most by any club.
Al Nasr and Al Ain are next with six goals each, followed by Al Wahda with five, Al Jazira with four, and Sharjah with three.
This year’s showdown will mark Shabab Al Ahli’s eighth appearance in an ADIB Cup final, another record.
Al Wahda and Al Ain have each appeared five times, Al Jazira four, Al Nasr three, and both Sharjah and Ajman twice. Al Wasl have reached the final once.
