Ajman revived their top-flight survival hopes after beating Khorfakkan 3-2 at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium in matchweek 23 of the Arabian Gulf League on Saturday.
Ajman got off to a flying start with Bubacarr Trawally opening the scoring two minutes only into the game, which marked the Oranges' fastest ever goal in the Arabian Gulf League.
To add insult to injury, Khorfakkan were reduced to 10 men when Ramon Lopes was sent off on 10 minutes, before Luse Antonio doubled the hosts' lead eight minutes later.
Khorfakkan's Bruno Lamas converted from the spot on 28 minutes to reduce the deficit before Leandro Spadacio regained Ajman's two-goal lead just five minutes after the restart.
Substitute Yousef Al Ameri got Khorfakkan back in the game by netting their second of the night in the 80th minute. Ali Al Hosani then pulled off a good save to deny Caio Rosa as the Oranges earned a 3-2 win.
This marked Ajman's first away win of the league season, which saw them move level on 14 points with Fujairah. The defeat sees Khorfakkan stay 10th on 21 points.
