Ahmed Amer's goal proved to be the difference at Al Nahyan Stadium as Ittihad Kalba edged Al Wahda 1-0 in matchweek 23 of the Arabian Gulf League on Friday.
Ahmed Amer capitalized on a defensive error to score what turned out to be the matchwinner on 26 minutes, with the 23-year-old finding the back of the net for the second game in a row.
The home side piled on the pressure in the second half in search of the equalizer but were repeatedly denied by the Tigers' defensive line and keeper Jamal Abdulla.
This marked Ittihad Kalba's first away win over Al Wahda. The win saw them move temporarily to 7th place, and are leveled on 35 points with eighth-placed Al Wahda.
