The UAE Pro League convened its second extraordinary General Assembly meeting for the 2023-2024 season on Monday.
The meeting, conducted via video conference, aimed at finalizing the supplementary electoral procedure for the UAE Pro League's board of directors.
The meeting was headed by His Excellency Abdulla Nasser Al Jneibi, UAE Pro League Chairman, and attended by UAE Pro League board members, representatives from the professional football clubs, and the executive management.
Opening the meeting, Al Jneibi articulated, "Our profound gratitude goes to our wise leadership for their unwavering support.
Their commitment to fulfilling our hopes and visions in leading and excelling in Emirati football truly makes us all proud."
During the meeting, the UAE Pro League Chairman expressed his pleasure in meeting members of the General Assembly and commended their contributions to developing professional competitions in various aspects.
He also highlighted the significant role of national companies sponsoring the League, enhancing its commercial development.
The meeting was initiated with the endorsement of the minutes from the previous session.
Subsequently, the assembly saw the appointment of three members entrusted with scrutinizing the meeting's proceedings.
During the meeting, Mr. Mohamed Said Abu Zinjal Al Ali was elected as a new member of the UAE Pro League’s board of directors.
To conclude, Al Jneibi and other assembly members expressed their gratitude to UAE Pro League board member Mohammed Obaid Al Yamahi for his invaluable contributions in the past period.
