In the presence of representatives of the Asian Confederation .. The UAE Pro League holds a workshop to begin the club Licensing Pre-Cycle 2024-2025

The UAE Pro League held a club on Wednesday for licensing workshop in preparation for the launch of the 2024-2025 licensing cycle, at the Rixos Prumium JBR in Dubai.

 

 

The workshop, which was witnessed by Doojin Sa, Head of professionalism in football at AFC, opened with a welcome speech by Musab ALMarzooqi, Institutional support director, in which he praised the efforts of professional clubs in following the regulations and contributing to the development of the licensing system during the past sessions, so that licensing standards in the UAE have become among the best in Region.

 

 

Al Marzooqi appreciated the support of the UAE Pro League’s Board of Directors, which leads the process of developing and modernizing the football system, and working to benefit from the gains of professionalism, in accordance with the League’s strategic plan 2020-2030.

 

 


The workshop activities continued with a presentation by Avi Gupta, Senior Manager Club Licensing Department at the AFC, during which he explained the most prominent updates in the competition system for the Asian Championships.

 

 

In turn, Abdullah Mubarak, Acting Club Licensing Manager, reviewed the development projects related to the League licenses.

 

 

He also discussed the most prominent challenges and difficulties that the clubs faced during the previous licensing period and ways to overcome them in the new session.

 

 

He shed light on the marketing and promotion standard, which aims to develop and improve the commercial side of professional clubs.

 

 

For his part, Jaber Dababneh, financial audit expert, discussed the most prominent amendments made to the financial standard in the 2024-2025 session, as the financial standard is one of the most important reasons for the financial sustainability of professional clubs.

 

 

The workshop witnessed positive interaction from the attendees through discussion of what was presented.

 

 

This is the twelfth workshop in the era of professionalism, as the workshops in previous sessions contributed to improving the work system and developing the club licensing system to become the most efficient at the continental level.

 


The workshop also witnessed the presence of licensing and financial officials and legal advisors in professional clubs.
