UAEPL reveals prizes for Fantasy winners
The UAE Pro League announced that registration for the 2021-2022 season of the ADNOC Pro League Fantasy is now open, as participants can take part in the game through the fantasy website and app, available on Android and iOS devices.
The initiative, which has been attracting growing interest since its launch in 2018, allows managers to pick and manage their own ADNOC Pro League Fantasy teams. Participants compete against other managers and try to collect the highest points in every matchweek, month, and at the end of the first and second half of the season. The manager with the highest points at the end of the season will receive the grand prize.
The new edition of the game sees an increase in the number of boosters, as each user now has seven boosters at their disposal for the season, and each booster can be used only once a season.
When you activate the Triple Captain booster, your captain’s points are tripled in the subject matchweek.
The Free Hit booster allows users to make unlimited transfers for the subject gameweek, without exceeding the team budget. The user’s old squad will revert the following matchweek. While for the Bench Booster, all 15 players of your team will score points for the subject matchweek, including your 4 bench players.
The Rich Uncle booster allows you to make any number of transfers for the subject matchweek with an open budget, and the old team will return for the following matchweek.
Meanwhile, the Park the Bus booster earns the manager double the points for all the defenders included in their team for the subject matchweek. Users can make substitutions as normal within the matchweek and points will be awarded only to defenders included in the line-up on the final day of the matchweek. Zero points will be awarded to any benched defenders on that matchweek. In addition, if a user captained a defender, they would quadruple the points for this player in the subject matchweek.
The All Attack booster will earn the user double the points for all forwards included in their team for the subject matchweek. Users can make substitutions as normal, but points will only be awarded to forwards included in the starting lineup on the final day of the matchweek. Users will earn zero points for any benched forwards on the subject gameweek. Meanwhile, if a user captained a forward, they would earn quadruple the points for this player.
Meanwhile, the Two Captains booster earns the user double the points for the two chosen captains for the subject matchweek, and the two captains can be chosen in any position. If any of the two captains don’t play, there will be no replacements and the second captain will not have the same functionality as the first captain, as it will be limited as a booster. Managers can substitute the second captain and bench him, but he won’t be automatically changed in any case.
Valuable Awards
The UAEPL announced several prizes for the winners; the manager with the highest points in every matchweek will receive a prize of AED 500 and 2 VIP tickets to attend a match of their favorite team. While the monthly winner will earn a one-day stay at Emirates Palace hotel and 2 VIP tickets.
In addition, 3 winners will be drawn monthly and will each earn the league’s official ball, a jersey, and 2 VIP tickets. Another draw will be held at the end of the season, and each of the 3 winners will receive the league’s official ball, a jersey, and a one-day stay at Emirates Palace Hotel.
The top three places in the overall leaderboard at the end of the first half and the second half of the season will get AED 3000, AED 2000, and AED 1500, respectively. Meanwhile, the overall winner at the end of the season will receive the grand prize of AED 10,000, while the runner-up receives AED 5,000 and the manager who finished third will win AED 4,000.
