The UAE Pro League has brought down the curtain on the 2022-23 ADNOC Pro League fantasy, which is one of the league’s initiatives that has witnessed an increasing demand from the league’s followers, as the number of Fantasy League participants reached 12,822 users this season, compared to 7,000 during the 2021-22 season.
Al Ain players topped the list of most picks by Fantasy managers, as Laba Kodjo was the most selected player with 76%, followed by Eric Jurgens at 57%, and Soufian Rahimi at 51%. Al Wasl's midfielder Fabio de Lima was selected by 47%, compared to 45% for Al Jazira's striker Ali Mabkhout.
Meanwhile, Di Lima topped the chart of players with the most points scored throughout the season totaling 218 points, followed by Laba Kodjo with 211 points, then Ali Mabkhout with 193 points and Soufian Rahimi with 164 points, and Firas Ben Larbi with 159 points.
In addition, Al Wasl's Khaled Al-Senani ranked first with the highest-scoring goalkeepers with 98 points, while Al Ain's player Eric Jurgens topped the chart of defenders with the highest number of points, totaling 106 points. Meanwhile, Fabio de Lima topped the list of highest-scoring Midfielders with 218, and Laba Kodjo also came first with the highest-scoring strikers with 211 points.
In light of the tense competition among the managers of the Fantasy ADNOC Pro League, Ihab Nayef, from Jordan, took the lead with 1960 points, thanks to his close follow-up of the ADNOC Pro League details and his successful use of the boosters, as he topped the Fantasy league standings from the sixth matchweek until the happy ending, which culminated his efforts throughout the season.
The UAE Pro League allocated several prizes with a total of AED 27,000 for the winners. The manager with the highest points at the end of the season will receive AED 10,000, the second will receive AED 6,000, the third will receive AED 4,000, the fourth will receive AED 3,000, and the fifth will receive AED 2,000.
As for the sixth, seventh, and eighth winners, they will receive a hotel stay each, while the ninth and tenth winners will receive a prize of AED 1000.
The manager with the highest points in every matchweek received a prize of AED 500, while the second winner received 2 VIP tickets to attend a match of their favorite team, provided that each of them has participated in the fantasy game before the start of the season, or at least two matchweeks prior to the winning round, and did not use any of the boosters.
