Sharjah extended their lead at the top of the AFC Champions League Group B standings after beating Uzbek side Pakhtakor FC 4-1 at Sharjah Stadium on Tuesday.
Khalid Bawazir opened the scoring for Sharjah on the 10-minute mark and Dragan Ceran equalized just 11 minutes later. Salem Saleh regained Sharjah's advantage on 26 minutes and Caio extended their lead two minutes before the one-hour mark. Luan Pereira netted the fourth four minutes later to seal the victory.
Sharjah, who top the group with seven points, will be looking to repeat that result on Friday when they face Pakhtakor again on Matchday 4.
